Show your restored 80-86 F150's

I'm not sure if one of these threads existed already, I didnt see one, but lets see your restored F150 or originals.

Mine is going to the body shop Monday to have the trim holes, roof light holes and lower side mirror holes welded up, also getting the new hood put on. Then a after a few more weeks of me doing some other body work and prep, going back to the body shop for paint

Let see what you got

Very nice, I see your going for an Eleanor look with your truck cool. what wheels are you going to put on the truck? keep us posted thats awesome.

Well, I dropped off my truck to the body shop to have the trim holes and a few other things welded up. Gonna pick it up Friday, hope to finish the rest of the body work and prep within a couple of weeks or so, then back to the body shop for prim and paint.

Thanks for the compliments. These are the wheels (actually a pic on ebay of wheels like mine) that I am going to be putting on it for now. A friend had them and I couldn't beat the price (free). I may try to mix some black into the clearcoat that I have to see if I can make a black chrome effect on them.

I also like the nice clean white of Muddy86's.
Em, I used one of the tricks that you used on the interior, the duct insulation on the floor, it worked great. I really like the way yours has been progressing.

Thanks girlwithatruck I like the white look a lot. Its really clean looking when she is washed but gets dirty very easily. But by no means is this a great paint job. This is the first paint job that I have done and it was in the garage so there are a few runs and drips in it. I have built mudding and off road trucks before but body and paint is all new to me. I definitely learned a lot. Haha

Nice trucks guys. Lookin good. Those white trucks look super clean, sweet looking.

Stang85gt; It funny to see you going with the eleanor look, I considered that on my truck at one point, then I considered doing a bullitt truck........but now I've decided to go with the toreador red metallic. I picked up my wheels yesterday. Well payed for them, they had to order me the fourth wheel because one of them was packaged wrong. I got some Cragar SS replica wheels, I went with 17" wheels, and 275 wide tires we put a couple of them onthe truck to check clearance, looks like it should be good. look almost just like them without the cragar price

Those wheels sound like they are going to be nice and wide. I like the Cragar SS look. As far as the red goes... I like the color that you are picking but I couldn't go red again as mine is recovering from the previous owner's red mess (a light red metallic with hints of orange).
