Hitch Insert "Anti Seize"

Hitch Insert "Anti Seize"
Might sound like kind of an odd request. I am looking to get a hitch insert to just leave in the back of my truck (protection from those idiots that like to get too damn close to me in parking lot). Obviously over time it will start rusting in there. I am looking for any ideas like a grease or lube or something that won't retain water (accelerate rust) and will prevent the insert from rusting to the factory bumper hitch over the next 10 years.

wouldn't worry about it man.
there is enough slop in the hitch tolerances that you have about 1/4" of play on all sides
I left mine in my F-150 for 3yrs without any issue. if you are really bothered, I suggest a liberal coating of heavy axle grease. it will repel water, and should stay where you put it
