Ford Truck Enthusiasts is proud to announce a major upgrade
to our classified ads system!

This new system addresses the concerns of those who said the
paid classifieds made it difficult to find small items because
they aren't cost effective to advertise.

The new system only charges for FOR SALE ads. If you are
searching for parts, items, accessories, engines, etc., you
can place a free WANTED ad on the system. Sorry, the system
does not allow WANTED ads for complete vehicles.

Additionally, this new version has MANY new features and
greatly improved navigation. The new features include:

- User accounts
- Spamguard on email addresses
- Categories/Subcategories
- Custom database fields
- "Privacy" email. Send advertisers notices without having
your (or theirs) email address disclosed.
- Enhanced "search agent". Feature that lets users set up
their own personal search agent that will automatically
e-mail them periodically with the new ads that match the
search criteria that they specified when they set up their
agent. Their search criteria can include not only keywords,
but also specific categories and types of ads. They can
even choose to be notified only of new ads with photos
- Counters by each section showing the number of ads in the
section.
- Email a friend. See an item for sale that a friend is
looking for? Have the system send them details of the ad
via email.
- Context sensitive help.

If you have a paid ad in the old system (still linked at the
top of the new system) and would like it in the new system,
you can place it there for free (through May 29th). The
old system will remain active through May 29th.
