Replacing timing and cam on a 351m

I am considering replacing the timing set and stock cam on a 351m with about 140miles on it that currently runs strong. Will I be able to just swap those out or will I have to do more than that. I have heard that because the bearings etc may be worn the cam may not fit properly.
I am just looking to get a bit more jam out of the engine for a lower cost - I don't need a lot of power as the motor will just be going into an old motorhome.

change the lifter too. The cam turn the half of the crank so the bearing wear slower than the crank.my 02
