1988 F150 Oil Pressure Gauge Problem

I have a 1988 Ford F150 with a 5.0. The oil pressure gauge will read in the middle, then all of a sudden it goes to zero. A while later it will start to read again. I assume that there is a problem with the switch/sending unit, but I can't find where the sending unit is. Can someone tell me where the sending unit is on my 88 F150 with a 5.0?

It is located directly above the oil filter. It is a small can shaped thing with a wire lead connected to the top of it. Takes about 10 minutes to replace (once located). I replaced mine about a year ago for the same problem.
