Wish me luck, going to take the motor home out this weekend. Lets see how the new intake and carb do on a longer trip.

Should get my X back Friday, as long as it passes compression tests tomorrow.

Used my neighbors 03 F250 7.3L to get my trailer to storage today. The 6.0 seems to have alot more power. Bigger difference than I expected.

later,
Kirby

My truck just cost me another $500.00. Could have been worse. Thanks to having good friends in the right places....

Now on my 3rd Radiator in my 08 SD.

I was hauling an empty trailer up Irving and my upper rad hose blew.

Pulled over, pushed rad hose back in place and re-set retainer pin. Took truck to buddies house and refilled resivoir with H2O unitl I could get Rad Fluid. Drove to Tumcarri NM to swap EBs with dood from OK. Came back. Went to Checker in RR, got Rad fluid installed. 2 late... took truck to work. Leaking fluid.

$500.00 was me getting the part at employee discount because I have a friend who works in parts there. DC Ford ate the cost of labor because this was my 3rd Rad. Rad #2 as 12 mo/12K mile warranty. I was at 14K on that warranty.
