ESOF to manual conversion

ESOF to manual conversion
I just got done swapping my ESOF system over to old fashioned manual. I got fed up with it when the shift motor went out for a second time (along with a wiring problem at one point) When I was in the market for a truck I was pretty dead set on getting one with manual shift, but I found the exact truck I wanted everything else was right except for this so I bought it.
I got a shifter boot and lever/**** assembly from a salvage yard, and bought the bellcrank (pivot point) that mounts on the trans from ford (no salvage yard would sell me one off a trans) I made my own shift rod out of .500'' square tubing and 3/8'' heim joints. I modded the shift motor with an external lever and its all working great. All 4x4 lights work as they should etc.
Just thought I would post my results as Ive seen several people ask about doing this.

now u r my friend
i've looking for this thread for a long time
any way i have the same problem that you have
i had the transmission out for some services, the car stayed out of work for more than 1 month
when i started the car, here the story begins
the transfer case didnt work, so i checked it on the dtc and it showed that the transfer case has gone!
i bough it recently (sr 900) = $ 240
the best part of the story was when i installed it, (it didnt work)! i mean the motor
now i am looking for a conversion !
i figured that the connector doesnt stay connected, it goes back !!!
any way you dont want to hear my life story.
and please if you can put some pictures so we can do the same thing
this is the connector, it seems like it is already connected but it isnt
this is the new motor
