The Pa. Chapters August Bull Thread/ Almost anything goes.

Just starting the month off guys. Only six days to Carlisle. But first a stop on the sixth at Lehigh and the Eagles training camp.

Edit; George(glruff) just informed me that it's still July. And that is why he's a moderator, thanks George.

I was staring at this thread yesterday wondering if I missed the calendar change myself...lol. Indeed, 6 days to go to Carlisle...gotta remember to round up the stuff I want to make sure I take along and since it's nice out today I think I'll start cleaning up/out the Explorer.

CoonJoe (since we have 2 Joe's already...lol) - That looks like some kind of late 60's Charger or something? Yours by chance, or something you just happened across on YouTube?

I wish I could spend the day rounding stuff up. My 3rd daughter stayed over with two of her kids last night and they wrecked the place, my downstairs bathroom and hall is completely flooded out, the heater was off and soaked, had the service man come out and tell me they tripped some switch, my tools where everywhere including the bathroom drain and my dog is either dying or having a miscarriage and I don't have the money for the vet. They broke my wifes fancy cake dish. I'm super pissed, my daughter isn't answering her phone. I feel like going over her house and just breaking things"on accident" .

Sometimes adult children are worse than the babies. She didn't get up with them so they ran roughshod , 3-4 yr olds should not be unsupervised.

The dog possibly being pregnant is a result of the same kids, my daughter came over one day and they left the door open and she took off. She hooked up with the Rottie a couple of houses down from me, twice. Both times same kids. My dog is a rott but she's 14 1/2 years old and I don't think she'll make it through a pregnancy, right now she can barely stand, she doesn't appear to be in any pain but she is lethargic.

Your supposed to have love, patience, tolerance and understanding. Screw time outs, how about a hand on the *** and a firm "NO".

Years ago some of my workers would act like total AHOLES and I"D get really pissed. My wife used to tell me every morning "Joe, you are not allowed to punch your workers". Some times you just have to be physical.

I want to be like Samson, GOD gave him the okay to smite the Philistines. I have decided I like the word "SMITE". I want to smite some one, they have been smote, smitten, smotted, whatever. Maybe I should just go to the range and pop off a couple hundred rounds, that usually makes me calm, cheap therapy.

Rant over, I have to go get the shop vac and clean up. The next time their here I'll still give them a piece of candy and a hug.

Edit: I decided what I'll do. When my wife gets home I'll order pizza, get some beverages, take the phone off the hook, lock all the doors, take a Levitra, Cealias and Viagra and pretend I'm Superman. Have to see if that four hour warning can really happen.

Oh man, Joe - sounds as if you've had one bad day. I guess this is the benefit of me living by myself and never having had kids, although my cat is getting more and more irritating as the day wears on. I swear she's in heat or something...won't shut up and keeps trying to scratch at just about everything (thankfully she's declawed so my furniture's safe...).

I'm still chuckling at the 4 hour warning....

Bill, It's been a crazy couple of years, this just seems to be par for the course. I don't usually let it get to me, I only post the stuff so others will post up and interact more. In the real world, off line, I have a pretty full plate, I try to stay as active and busy as I can, sometimes it knocks me down or makes me a little tired, but not for long. I enjoy a good challenge or fight, both literally and figuratively.

My grand kids are great and so are my kids, most of the time. I have so many grandkids that I figure this stuff is just collateral damage and will make for good stories when their older. I'll take some pics for the album and when their hollering at their own children some day I'll whip them out I have done this to my own kids when their being to hard on theirs, they usually get pissy and leave, then won't talk to me for a few days, I love it.

LOL - having the old pictures around will definately keep them honest.

Speaking of pictures, I'm in search of finding the door switch location on my Explorer. I have a bad switch on the driver's side door and I just had the door apart and didn't see it. I wonder if I have to loosen the latch as well to get it where I can change them. Door ajar light sticks on now...sigh.

Ended last month with a bang, started this month off fixing the bang. What a Saturday. Pulling my radiator, shroud and fan, pulling a radiator and fan from the wrecking yard, and putting them in my truck. These rad's are heavy. My fan shroud decided it wanted to be in the same place as my fan at the same time my fan was there. I didn't get pics, but it emptied the radiator pretty damn fast when the fan bent into it. At least that's over with.

This month is starting off okay for me. Working 2 jobs isn't as easy as it used to be but the extra cash sure is nice. Today I'm taking my daughter to the mall. This ought to be fun.

Hey fellow members I want to see some pictures of the great trucks you guys get to see at Carlisle. Maybe next year I will plan my vacation to be able to make it.
Joe
Sorry to here about the dog, I miss my dogs the ex took one in the divorce and gave the other away both Rotts, They used to go every where with me slobbering on the back windows of my truck. The truck that went with the dogs, Now I have are my three old trucks but they run and keep me in a hobby so can't complain.
Well a firm smack never hurt any one that I know.

Joe them pills may cause a heart attack be easy on them lol.

I'm headed out tonight to get a 2nd memory card for my camera, and I know I'll be posting up some of my pix once I get home. Should be a fun time. But in the meanwhile, I gotta mow the lawn and about 4 other things first...lol. Good thing Wal-Mart's open 24/7...
