Thought some of you guys would like this truck. It's a little pricey for me, but it sure looks good.

Kind of nice though nothing really that special so I think that Edgar is way too high in his pricing........For that kind of money there`s much nicer toys out there that I`d rather have.

Sorry to say that is a home built truck and not factory ordered. It doesn't have the F-350 front fenders as they are wider. That box wasn't available till 1964 and had a steel floor not wood. The F-350's had 17" 6 bolt wheels which never came with hubcaps. That front 4wd drive locking hubs look too modern. Judging where the rear wheels are in the rear openings I'd say someone just put the old body on a 73-79 frame which had a 2" longer wheelbase.

I agree and disagree.
I agree the price is too much for the truck. They did make special order 4x4's back then
Nathan I have a spotter book and that style of box was made in 1962 and could of been carried over to 63. I agree something is not right about the wheel space at the back. I cannot tell if a chasis change was done. The rims can easily been changed from the split rims they would of have to the modern ones. Yes the habcaps are too new. late 70's style. and the center locking hubs are definitely not original.
This guys ad is misleading. He is trying to find a sucker. I think things have been changed and it is not all original.

On the box I thought the standard cab boxes were the 1957-60 box for the 1961-63 trucks some 4wds till 1966. Cause the unibodies were the regular box. I've drove a worn out original 1962 F-250 with the 1957-60 box.

23 grand I could easily blow elsewhere, although the truck is decent looking.

These years werent my favorite styles anyways.

Yes I seen those square boxy truck boxes put on the 61-66 trucks also. More so the first few years of cross over design change. I will admit I never saw any with wood floors in those years.

Ive seen only refridgerator styled boxes on 62-63 trucks that werent unibody, never seen a newwer styled box on a 61-63 but that dont mean they arent out there........ If I had a nice 61-63 I would really consider swapping boxes just a really nice body line.

I dont think they had wood floors in these years on stylesides.
