Normal EOT and ECT

Hi ,

I would like to know what is the normal running temperature!
Mine shows:
- Normal driving not pulling EOT and ECT 180 degree
- While towing my 13k trailer EOT and ECT can reach 200-220 some time.

Does it sounds normal ?

Thx

As long as they don't exceed 230 then you are all right and they should not differ by more than 15 degrees or your oil cooler has failed.

The thermostat begins to open at about 190*F to 195*F and is not fully open until about 215*F to 219*F. The PC/ED manual states that the PCM will begin to defuel when the ECT exceeds 221.
