I am really curious to see the Transit Connect--every time I drive by a Ford dealer, I look thru the rows on their lot to see if these have arrived yet.
They had one at the NY car show back in March '08. It was set up as a Taxi.
Thanks, but I'm looking for actual vehicles for sale at US Ford dealers...not show cars. A sighting of four on a transport means that there are some out there, at least on the West Coast.
True. I was only posting to say that it certainly has been a long wait since we first heard about it or even saw it.
I definitely agree with that. It would have been good for Ford to have the Transit Connect and the Fiesta available in the US months ago, but I'm guessing there is a lot of adaptation needed. The Connect didn't even have an automatic trans option in Europe, and then they have to do safety and emissions certifications, etc.
