Rattle Rattle almost done

Ok, guys I been rattle canning for some time now and it's time to let you see what I started with and what I've gotten done so far. The engine work is the best, and yes it's an Olds 330 but you gotta go with what you got, or at least until it pukes on me, haha.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/a...hp?albumid=388

I been playing with the engine the most as it had a miss that was shaking the engine something fierce. After pulling the heads, cleaning all of the sludge that accumulated after 43 years, cleaning up the valve seat areas, installing valve guide seals, and giving her a fresh paint job she looks pretty good . The shake persisted and a new set of spark plugs cleaned up most of the problem. The painting of the truck was to stop the cancer (rust) from spreading (being malignant) around the rest of the truck. Man have I had some fun playing with this truck. I have driven her about a mile a couple of times and she needs new tires but I'll get to that.

It is looking good, I don't mind running with what ya got, as long as you are having fun with it. My 66 is not a stock truck, it reflecks what I like, not what some one may think it should be.

I would rather do engineering work ( it pays $150/hour) and the mechanical only pays $45/hour. But I do whatever comes in the door..........I don't hire any help anymore. It's just getting to hard to find qualified people that want to work.

They don't want to stick around and work those long hours. They all think they should be sitting at a desk making the big bucks.
