1975 F-150 Steering Column Problems

Hello,
My column shifter broke off the other night under normal use. The bell housing around the shaft broke in two places as well as the interior piece that looks to hold the column shifter in place so that it comes in contact with the inner "rod" (inside the steering column) that moves up and down and twist left to right in order to shift the gears.
Can anyone offer any advice on what part I need? If I do I need a new steering column all together? Where to go about finding such a part? I have exhausted my mediocre internet searching abilities and found nothing on ebay.
Thanks.

Welcome to FTE

Shifting gears? I assume this means you have a 3 speed manual.

The collar used with A/T is not the same!

D5TZ7228B .. Shift Collar / Use with 3 Speed Manual Transmission / Obsolete

Fits: 1965/77 F100/350, 1966/77 Bronco and 1969/77 Econoline.

How many NOS (New, Old Stock) genuine Ford originals would y'all like?

PARTS INTERNATIONAL in Farmers Branch TX has 42 = 888-727-0418.

ANTIQUE AUTO SUPPLY in Arlington TX has 25 = 817-275-2381.

WESLEY OBSOLETE PARTS in Liberty KY has 15 = 606-787-5293.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 11 = 800-543-4959.

CRANDALL FORD-MERCURY in Park City UT has 4 = 800-497-8265.

WAHLSTROM FORD in Chadron NE has 4 = 866-397-9532.

Ooops!

I guess when I thought of column shifter I wasn't thinking about the possibility there might be a 3 speed manual column shifter. Sorry about that. In fact, I have a automatic transmission C-6 3 speed.

Do the suggestions still hold?

Thanks for the welcome and the advice.

Thank you! You are the man! I was completely lost which is easy for a newbie... I think I found the right part:
1975 FORD F-150 6.4L 390cid V8 (H) : Transmission-Automatic : Shift Lever Collar

Awesome!

Thanks again.

Not a problemo, considering how many years, models it fits, others will be looking for one a those M/T collars...and see that post.

You're in luck...because the A/T shift collar is still available from Ford!

D5TZ7228A .. A/T Shift Collar / Fits: 1965/77 F100/350.

MSRP: $59.82 // FTE sponsor: Y2KFORDPARTS.COM price: $43.19.

Y2K = MILLENNIUM FORD in Seattle WA.

If you need it right away, Three Ford dealers in AL have one each:

HARBIN MOTOR CO. in Scottsboro / VALLEY FORD-MERCURY in Onoenta / GILMORE FORD in Prattville

If you need anything else, I'm the one to ask here on FTE, because I have the parts catalogs, and know where to look for the parts if they are obsolete.

See my signature: v v v 35 years of Ford parts experience comes in handy here on FTE.

Hey, looks like I need part number D5TZ7228B for my 1976 F100 3 speed column shift, as the hole in the collar is "wallowed" out. I also need the pin that holds the shifter in the collar, as well as the rubber bushing that holds the shifter tightly in the collar. Any chance you could provide the part number for these other two parts NumberDummy? Thanks!
