Need pics/diagram of F600 door handle and latch

I need pics or a diagram of an F600 dent side door handle and latch system. Does anyone have them, or know where to find them?

I just got the whole setup from my grandpa's wrecked old '69 F100. I wanted to see how the F600 push button handles are designed and placed so I can fab up these handles and locks to work on my '74. I managed to get the ignition lock cylinder and key too, so the one key works for the doors and ignition. I think it will be great to be able to use these locks and this key that my grandfather has had for 40 years. My dad rode in that truck when he was a kid.

Since there are a few F600 trucks owned by people on here, you're going to want to invest in a medium-duty truck parts catalog so you can find diagrams for everything.

Here is a pic of the door handles that were installed on a 76 crew cab by a guy/ bendog on another crew cab forum....old ford crew cabs... he is doing a really sweet job building his 76 crew cab!!
Maybe you can contact him through that forum for more details

Ok. Thanks, that sounds good. I actually found some of the info I need. I found some diagrams of the '84 push button handles. I imagine they work more similar to how the '70s push buttons do.

The '69s push buttons use a paddle in contact with the button, the '80s have a lever against the button, that is hooked to a rod, much closer to the '70s design. The lever and rod allow for more freedom of handle placement.

The '69 requires the handle to be placed in one particular location so that the button can directly push the paddle, and the lock cylinder directly lifts and lowers the locking mechanism. I believe the dent is in the way of where the '69 assembly locates the lock.

I'll think on it and get back to you guys.

Keyed alike door and ignition sets:

C7TZ8122050A .. Lock Set / Fits: 1967/72 F100/750. This set is not the same as...

D8TZ1022050D .. Lock Set / Fits: 1973/77 F100/350 / 1973/79 F500/750.

If both trucks have double sided keys, you can have your present lock cylinders re-keyed, so you can use grandpa's keys in your 1974.

The outside door handles used 1967/72 F100/750's are not the same as 1973/77 F100/350's, not the same as 1973/79 F500/750's.

C7TZ8122404A Right & C7TZ8122405A Left .. Outside Door Handle / Fits: 1967/72 F100/750.

D3TZ5022404A Right & D3TZ5022405A Left .. Outside Door Handle / Fits: 1973/79 F500/750.

D8BZ5422404A Right & D8BZ5422405A Left .. Outside Door Handle / Fits: 1973/79 F100/350 / 1978/79 Bronco / 1973/78 LTD/Mercury Marquis / 1973/76 Torino/Montego / 1974/76 Cougar.

Fits: 1974/78 Mustang II / 1975/80 Granada/Monarch/Lincoln Versailles / 1977/79 T-Bird/Mark V/LTD II/Ranchero/Cougar / 1978/83 Fairmont/Zephyr.
