I need a good honest transmission shop in Denver metro
I need a good honest transmission shop in Denver metro.
My 2004 F150 XLT with 60800 miles neutrals out with OD on.
I have no warranty and I do not have the cash or want to be roped in for an entire rebuild. If it is a single issue I just need it to be fixed so I can trade it in six months from now. I changed the fluid a little over 30k and tonight in search of metal from the OD ring. I did find some very tiny pieces. I am thinking about dropping in some tranny cleaner tomorrow in hopes of cleaning of the electrical components. The fluid was full, clean and did not smell burnt. The OD light does not flash and I do not do any heavy pulling. The truck had a shake on I70 Monday while decelerating to exit and then OD went out Wednesday 30 miles after the shake. If you are or have a good mechanic you can refer me to I would greatly appreciate it.
