Question ford vs mercury piston differances?

I'm collecting parts for my 52 v8 flatty that I hope to put into my 46 pickup ,no chevy crap for me! Anyways I have a Mercury 1952 engine with a 4" crank I think, well I believe it is,anyways I have 2 sets of pistons and need specs on how to tell if either are mercury pistons. I know the wrist pin is set up some in the merc. pistons but how much? and is there an ez way to tell? pictures? thanks in advance , tony in buffalo ny

Tony, go here and you may find the info you are needing.
Techno Source for the 1932 thru 1953 Flathead Ford

If you have have some wrist pins out of the pistons, I wonder if you could measure them with a micrometer. I need the size for a project I am working on.
