2012 Ranger

I don't know how to post links but Motortrend.com has a thread about a new 2012 Ranger being tested in Europe. Just wanted to let everyone know it was there. If they actually do bring it I might hold off on getting a new Mahindra this fall.

Friggin ugly, ugly, ugly. I'll take a tacoma please.

Ford would have to up the standard features and power to be on par with the Tacoma to even make me look at it.(If it looks the the pics above I won't be looking long) I have been pricing new 2wd I4 stripped down rangers and tacomas and as of now the tacoma spanks the ranger in every way. Fords upcoming turbo engines turn me off too I'm not interested in having the future cost liability of a turbo. This is coming from a diehard Ford guy who as only ever had Fords.

I love my F250, having said that if i could get by with driving a small truck all the time, It would be a Tacoma i have owned 4 and ironically i have kicked my self repeatedlly after selling all 4. Had a Ranger once for 3 weeks until i got tired of not being able to use my signal light without the truck backfiring and dieing!!!
Sorry for the Hi-Jack

I love my SD, its not going anywhere. Only reason I'm even considering a smaller truck is to keep the miles down on the SD.

I'll only take the pictures seriously when it's officially released.
Anyway, it's the 4 cyl turbo diesel that I'm interested in. That's why I signed up to be one of the first test drivees of the new Mahindra in Boise when they get here this fall.

You have some great places out there to try it out. Boise is a very nice town. I was there 10 years ago when I worked for Morrison Knudsen.
