I know the last time we did this I brought a bunch of burgers and doggies to grill and some sides. Marc brought Ribs and corn and deserts and a full-size grill too. Rick (sysman) brought a table top gas grill and a few things

I had thought about if everyone wanted to bring thier own maybe? I was thinking of bringing a couple packs of Brats and... maybe a side item or two plus some drinks.

Games?! I might bring cornhole again...and the radio (I forgot to take it out of the truck last time). We're right on the water so maybe some might want to do some bank fishin'.

If I can work out the logistics I may bring a ski-boat too...

Well the only boat I can bring is a 100% ski/tube puller. Due to the wrap around seats and lack of a trolling motor I wouldn't wanna do any fishin' on it. That 5.7L V8 doesn't troll very well w/out the fear of overheating.

man i was really regretting to have to say this but i got a call from my command and apparently i'm going to afghanistan so i'm going to be taking a little more leave time here in Nevada so that i can get a few things worked out before i go. hence i'm not going to be able to make the GTG! i am really pissed cause i was really looking forward to it. i was even going to bring my sister since she was/is making the 2300 mile trek back to SC with me.

Regrets on this end too, gonna have to work Saturday new upgrade, we can try something in July like using my house? Grill out, swim in the pool drink beer and check out the trucks. Enjoy the saturday on the lake in the boat

 

Hate to hear that you can't make it, it look's like it is going to be hard to get EVERYONE together in one place. I understand about the obligation's we all have and the thing's that come up that are out of our control. Sometime's we are going to have to take what we can get!! A few that can go, should not be penalized for the ones that can't. Everyone is going to have a time that they can't go and we all should realize that, and go when we can. I wish we could have a GTG at least once a year where everyone could go, but it ain't gonna happen, so when I do get to see ya'll, I will enjoy it!!!

 

David, when I get back from Canada (July 1-10) will have to go to lunch you Rich myself and any others we can drag out.

My family my side, wife is a SC belle and we live 8miles from her family, close enough if we need something but not so close that they know everything. I love not having to shovel snow anymore
