I have a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT V8 4X2 with 43000 miles on it. The service engine light is on and does not go away. I have changed the air filter the oil. what else should i do? need help.

Also when i press hard on the gas the ABS light comes on what does that mean? THanks

I would do a brake inspection for starters for the ABS ligh that might be triggering the service light.
