I am curious what you owners of '01 owners paid for your truck and a ballpark figure of what dealers are taking for monthly payments. I just started a new job where I can afford a new vehicle and am going looking after I get a few paychecks under my belt.

I don't own a Ford Lightning, but i was reading an article a few days ago about the pros and cons of the Lightning. The article stated that the average base price is 29,000. That may seem a lot to most, but, it is well worth it if what i have heard is true.

w/ the x-plan you could get it for around 28,900. All you have to do is search for a dealer who will honor it.

I just put a deposit down on a 2002, but the price they offered me was MSRP + tax and license which came to about 35,398.
