Can anyone in south-central PA help me rebuild my carb?
My '76 F150 needs a carb rebuild, I ordered the rebuild kit from Napa, $61 bucks. Should be here by Wed.
I'm afraid to take it to the mechanic- Lord knows what he'll charge me, and I don't have (big) funds to just hand over right now. Plus I need my truck to drive to work a day or two a week. I'd like someone to show me how it's done anyway! I could probably figure out how to do the rebuild itself, but I don't wanna screw anything up.
Might anyone be able to help me? I don't know how to tune it or anything either. I can pay a little bit, or treat dinner and a few beers?
My dad bought the truck new, and took good care of it. He gave it to me a few weeks ago, and I wanna slowly fix 'er up.
If you can help me out, or point me in the right direction- let me know.
