How Do I Install A New Radius Arm Bushing?

Hi, I just bought a 1992 Ford Explorer and when I brake or hit a hard bump it really makes a loud clunk sound... the po said it was in need of a radius arm bushing. I have never installed one of these? Is it hard to do? Is there a difference in what brand I should buy? I see schucks has some for $13.99 I can pick up today and from there they go all the way up to $41.99. Thanks for your help.

There are many posts that cover this. Do a search on Radius arm bushings. The parts are cheap, but there is a fair amount of labor involved. If they are the original bushings, then you probably have the pop rivet setup which means they will need to be drilled. You'll know what I'm referring to once you read some of the posts.
