If 67+ F250 4X4 frames are all the same, how do they differ from the 65/66 F250 4x4 frames?

Does that mean that the 73+ F250 4x4s did not get the longer box?

They are quite similar. The bottom contour of both frames over the rear axle is the same. Th slicks are flat on top while the later ones have a bit of a bump to keep the rail taller.

Im trying to locate a 1961 F250 4x4 (prefer a high boy). This would be something I would expect to work on and fix up, my intent is to make it a tribute truck to the one my late father had when I was a kid. hope to find something solid Im not set up to do do a rust restore, and my funds are extremely limited but if someone has a lead on this particular vehicle that' running also its not require to have a bed, I intend to put a flatbed on it in the end. my email is ericheal@hotmail.com and also I can be found on facebook. My cell is 207-922-0097 I hope to hear from someone soon, please help me make my tribute truck dream come true, I would love to commemorate my father with this truck, thanks

If you put a bump body on a dent Highboy frame, the cab to box gap will be about an inch too big if the wheels are properly centered in the wheel wells.

Black is the correct color for American built 61-66 F250 4x4 steering columns, either Standard or Custom Cab.
