EGR Cleaning

Is there any local shops that can be reccomended to do a cleaning on my EGR system, I'm looking for a shop or tech that possibly has the BG system for cleaning the EGR passage ways..

I had some driveability issues to say the least tonight, and pulled my egr it was packed, so I cleaned it and re-installed it's running great now.. but I would like to clean the passageways ect on it.. and I donot have the bg tool myself.. I'm sure it's quite expensive and not worth my buying for my tool collection...

No I haven't... I am going to talk to our BG rep tomorrow, and see what this tool costs ect.. If it's not too bad I may just buy it. Right now I am not going to have time to take it in someplace until I get back from my trip.. Not to mention I just changed the oil (AMSOIL) so I really don't want to do it again (as with the BG service you are supposed to use an oil additive and change the oil after the service)

I know sounds stupid going on a trip with an EGR issue, but I am going to see if I can get a new valve tomorrow, and an extra gasket set and bring with a couple tools and some carb clean if it's an issue again... What a poor design, atleast they make it easy enough to pull the EGR out...

Thanks for the reccomendation...

Has any of the local guys with 6.0's have this service done? I talked with or BG guy and he is going to try to get me a demo to use, but I am also thinking of buying this tool. But I am wondering...

Does anyone else out there have an interest in having their EGR & Intake Passages cleaned on their 6.0L's?

I know I plan on using this tool for my truck.. so that in itself will help pay for the tool.
