Truck height laws in mass
Hi all, I was curious if anyone knows the truck height law on trucks in mass. I have A 92' F150 with 4" suspention lift and a 2" body lift. I'm running 33" tires and the truck is 26" from the ground to the bottom of the rocker panel. I've heard the limit is 28" from ground to rocker panel but can't find anyone who knows exactly.Any help would be greatly apprecated....Thanks

OK VT...here goes. It apparently isn't as cut and dried as a simple measurement. There is actually a formula that inspectors are supposed to use.
Multiply the wheel base by the wheel track...divide by 2200...and round down. That equals the mechanical (suspension) lift you are allowed. The lift amount you are allowed is over stock ride height. You can then add an equal amount of lift with larger size tires.
If the inspector believes that your vehicle is too high...they are instructed to issue a reject sticker and direct you to the registry for a final determination
