I've been looking for some non reproduced parts for my '49 F1 w/ an inline 6 (226) engine.

Has anyone come across a salvage yard with trucks this old within driving distance of Omaha? All of the one's that I know of said they do not have anything that old anymore.

 

ask Randy (fordnut) as he has a collection (as I like to call it) of old cars/trucks/metal objects..

 

Not sure how far you want to drive, but I just seen this in the Minnesota Craigslist. Its around 6.5 hour drive from Omaha.

I'm looking the an exhaust manifold for a 48-51 F1 w/ an inline 6 (226).

Where do I find information on the swap meets? I've never been to one and am not sure where to look for information like the time and place.

I know there is also a big one in Fremont every year, not sure when it is, though. I'll see if I can dig up some info on it.
