Cooking Oil
<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Hi, I am looking into buying a diesel truck soon and have a few questions. My fiancy's father has a bio- diesel plant in his garage and that is most of the reason I want a diesel. How ever; I've heard some of the new ford trucks don't do so good with used veggie oil even cleaned and filtered. Why? They didn't say; my guess is design from the 7.3L to what ever they have between then and now. I think I'm going to be buying a 1999-2007 Superduty when I sell my 1998 F150. So that is the truck I would like to know a little bit about. (Idk what engine I will end up getting) So any help would be great. Thanks

Welcome to the biodiesel forum! Any Ford up through 2006 is good to go. The newer (07) and up have a DPF and have problems with biodiesel. You can find more info here: Why 2007 & Newer ULSD Emission Vehicles Don't Like Biodiesel - Topic Powered by Eve For Enterprise
