Death Wobble HELP
I own a 2007 f250. I had it for about 2 months and no wobbles. I recently put a 9 inch lift with 3 inch spacers on 40 inch super swampers. Since the lift i have a death wobble from 42 to 49 mph. when it gets into the wobble its undriveable. ball joints are good tires are balanced multiple stabilizers installed any direction to possiby check would be awesome. sometimes i can break the 48 mph zone and ride fine but very very rarely

Stock steering?
If so that's very dangerous as it's at an extreme operating angle if all you have is a drop pitman arm.
Personally, I would not drive the truck......not going to be pretty if the drag link fails.
What's the caster setting?
Have you had it aligned?
What is the lift composed of (what brands and parts)?
Does it wobble all the time at that speed? Or only when hitting a bump?

Only 2 things changed after your lift : Tires and the Caster.
#1 - install stock tires and drive
#2 - Have Caster checked
#3 - Have Tire's balanced and Caster re-set that should do the trick (if nothing is worn out)
p.s : the toe and camber stay the same after a lift , The toe will change with tire size.

fixed the death wobble!!!!
man what a releif, i've lived with that wobble for 2 years now and finnally figured it out. i bought these new castor shims or whatever there called and had them installed. i swear its like i have a brand new truck. its an 06 F250 XL 6.0, 6in pro comp stage 1 lift. it cost me $250 to have it realigned and the new shims put in. it might seem like a lot but i was about to pay $850 to have the lift taken back off and stock parts reinstalled!

as of right now i dont think anything else is messed up, i was always getting under there to check for loose or worn parts as much as possible. i had the problem for 2 years, but i was deployed for 1 year of that and it didnt get driven at all during. i actually got the idea to change the castor from this site. so i thank everyone for the knowledge i acquired from here!!!
