Hello SoCal People

I would just like to introduce myself, my name is Stephen
I as you can see i am new to this site, but far from new to ford trucks.
I live in ramona Ca I own 4 fords.
2001 f150 extra cab(for sale)

1988 mustang lx coupe with irs and 2.3turbo(project)


mercury merkur xr4ti(no pic's and for sale)
and a 1970swb f100(no pic's yet but will soon i hope)

Did you use the turbo from that XR4Ti for the LX? That sounds like a fun project.

Anxious to see pics of that70.......

the xr4ti is a complete car and a runner and if i sell my 2001 it will be my DD my lx is going for some major changes it has the irs in it going with a full k-member turbo 2.3 is being built up first engine dyno was 478hp 420tq to the flywheel im looking to try to get 500+hp/tq befor i put it in the car Wicked Stangs Mustang Club

well as soon as i get the truck home i will give gobbs of picks.
the truck is a shell right now
no motor or trans, the rearend i have to give back to the guy, but it is strait and complete. thinking of putting the 06 indipendent front from a intercepter cop car and a 5.4l out of a f150 so it will be a graduel build


OH and P.S. I am sorry about my spelling it's no good at times

What IRS did you use for the Mustang?

i put a 03/04 cobra irs. it darn knear bolted right in. just needed to drill for 8 bolts for the rear hangers and alter the e-brake cables and shorten the driveshaft 1".

Welcome to the site, there is a guy over in the 67 to 72 section that did a IFS from a crown vic into a 70 i think...
