It has been idling a considerable amount lately in the cold weather and I did have a new radio installed that had me sitting in the car learning how to operate the new radio.

My wife called while she was filling it up, so I had her tell me the mileage and how much gas was pumped in and I was quite surprised.

I am now officially in the club.

 

It must be the "moon roof" or the "black" paint...........the worst on my 08 EL was around 11 and I was towing about 6500#, keeping up with traffic.............

 

There has been a few times my wife popped the hood while trying to release the parking brake. Gets me thinking..... That hood better be down and locked when I get home!

I was on duty the day I was talking to my salesman at the dealership telling him what I was looking for (2007 Expy Limited EL black-on-black.... which he found for me in 3 hours!) and my EMS director kinda chuckled when I got off the phone.

He asked me if I was afraid the gas prices would go back up to $4 a gallon this summer after I bought this behemoth of a truck...

I laughed and told him that if I was so worried about mileage, I'da been calling to find a Civic!

I love my carbon footprint!!
