What other stock wheels will fit a 1998 Ranger 4x4. There seems to be something unique about the front hubs that limit junkyard wheel choices. Any experts out there?

A jeep has the same bolt pattern, but there's is a difference in front hub size on the 4x4's.

 

jeep alloy rims need machining to fit over the ranger front hubs, the steelies however will work. i run '01 wrangler rims for my winter set of tires. click this link for alot of rim information: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...l_fitment.html [/url] heres my '93 with '01 wrangler rims. i did cut out the plastic cap on them for the lockout hub to pass thru.

 

Your 98 has hub centric wheels - only hub centric wheels with the same diameter as your hub will fit properly.

 

I guess the question really is, what other years and models of Fords have the same hub-centric rim style. He found a pair of 16's that fit the hub, but without a full set he cant use the 4x4 here in the snow for obvious reasons.
