Rainy Saturday, whatcha doin?
Since most of the state is getting soaked including myself, simply curious as to what others are doing or have done.
Yesterday I got a spare tire carrier along with the mounting hardware. Today, I've gotten the carrier and the two bolts painted and they're drying now (indoors of course). This morning, I got a factory screw jack with the handle. I somewhat cleaned the jack up, but it's got some more work needed and painted the handle and it's drying too. No plans for the remainder of the day. Got a steak marinading, and it's about time for my pre-dinner mid afternoon rainy day nap.
Ok, someone else's turn...

I'm just a day late on this one! Didn't do anything on the trucks yesterday or the last month for that matter. I did go to an estate sale yesterday and bought a 1924 cash register, just something else for me to work on haha.
Steve, that 250 you got there looks pretty good, how does it run? what are your plans for it? you gonna keep the fire truck theme? It would make a cool parts hauler with that flat bed on it

It needs a bunch of work, but come to think of it...everything I have needs a bunch of work
This is a candy store register, highest this would ring is a $1. This is after the brass cash registers, when they started doing sheet metal sides, these are easier to restore, don't have the expense of the brass or nickel to restore. I have a bunch of junk like this I collect and play with along with the trucks. If you notice to the right of the register is a candy store scale.
