new Ford in the family

The wife and i finally decided to pension off the ranger.. i mean its great for the two of us but when we have a grandkid or a kid with us its too packed in there for us, so we have purchased a 2003 F150 4wd extended cab short bed.. green in color tan interior so we too will have a full size next get together
just wanted to spread the news

Congrats. That would replace the ranger AND the chevy as far as functionality, thus reducing your "in city" parking hassles and of course, insurance, maintanence, and other associated costs.

well i picked it up on friday and did over 700 miles on it running all over upstate NY and PA.The th ing runs excellent and it aint so bad on gas either.. As Frederic said its going to replace the ranger ( now up for sale) but im keeping my old chevy as a kinda project. It now resides upstate too, so one of these days when its a tad warmer we can still do those rockers and cab corners on it. If someone wants i can forward pics for others to post but its a basic forest green extended cab shortbed f150 with a cap ( for now) tool box was brought home to be installed later
