Trick My Truck, Pimp My Ride, Overhauled
My son in law "borrowed" Old Smokey, the 54 F250 about 3 or 4 months ago and has had it since. I thought he was maybe going to fix the tailgate that got bent when he used it a few years back or maybe do something with it to make something to advertize his familie's business. Well little did I know that I was being blessed.
He has been having the stalled project truck redone. It is a ways from being done, but I saw the cab and doors for the first time last night that had just been painted. The dents and rust is gone and it has a new metalic red paint job being done. Thanks a bunch kids!!!
How my friends and family didn't spill the beans I don't know. Even Curtis has been in on the deal since this past July. I'd be mad, but how can you be mad when someone has done such a great gift.
I'll have Old Smokey at one of the future G2G's when it is done. A few of you have seen it at the gathering in Madhappiness earlier this summer.
THANKS TO MY KIDS.

I'll try to get some pics up from my daughter and son in law.
The turkeys took us out to dinner(Puffy's in Maple Hill, good steaks and ribs) and Scott the son in law has been looking at an early '50 chebbie coupe and said he wanted to show me a couple of engines a guy had in Paxico that he was considering for the coupe. I walk in like a doofus and start looking for engines and notice a nice looking painted cab in the back and thought that looks like a neat Effie project, but it took me a bit to realize that I was looking at Old Smokey. It was a great surprise and it was even more fun to be able to share it with family and great friends. Thanks again to all who made is special.
I'm still walking in a daze from how great the truck looks so far. I'm just overwhelmed.
Curtis, feel free to chime in.
