2005 f250 max tire size??

What size of tires can I put on without rubbing on a stock 2005 f250 6.0 4x4?? Thinking of going with BFG All Terrains. Will probably do a leveling kit later on.

Thanks

I have BFG AT's on mine. They are 285/70R17's. I would think you could fit 35's but I have been wondering the same thing myself.

I wouldn't go over 285s or it starts to look funny.

DC is there any height difference between a leaf sprung 1999-2004 vs the newer coil sprung 4x4's? (F-250/350)
just curious

My 07 with 6000lb coil springs did sit slightly higher than than my 99-04s with x-code front springs.

Now with 7000lb coils in it, it's definitely taller.

I have a 2005 F250 and have 295/70/17 (34" tires). I measured mine and my friend's trucks (2005 F250/2005 F350). Mine has a gas engine, his a diesel. His sat one inch lower than mine in the front and one inch higher in the rear. The trucks were optioned the same, so it's my contention that the diesel sits one inch lower in the front, so you may be real close with 35" tires.
