So what is everyone up to????

I have been busy getting my fire wood ready for the upcoming winter.
I need to get some things cleaned up around the house before the weather gets too bad and hopefully I will have a chance to do some work on the floor framing for the shed that I am building. I will be leaving the rest of the shed build for next year after all of the fill dirt that I had brought in settles after the winter.

 

I'm finishing repairing my front porch. Let this house go too long without some attention.

 

George, was that a complete tear off and rebuild or was some of it salvageable ??

 

Neil, I saved the roof and 2 floor joists. Took the siding off that part of the house and replaced it with pine tongue and groove, T & G flooring, framed it up to enclose it with alum storm windows. Bought most of the materials about 5 yrs ago. Figured that if I finish my projects I'll have more room..... If I finish the house roof I'll have more room in the garage. Those shingles are taking up space.

 

Well that sure sounds like a tear down and rebuild. At least you were able to save the roof
