how to remove factory radio in an 08 limited

I want to wire in my Sirius Starmate so it turns off when the accessories go off. I tried to wire it from the fuse box thinking it was just like my Stang...it's not, who knows how the dash comes apart and what wire do I tap in the radio's loom for that, Also will the Ford satellite antenna work with my aftermarket unit.

If anybody has a schematic that would awesome

I also have another post where I talk about wiring up an aux outlet through a switched circuit in the fuse box. That may be easier than actually removing the stereo.

I can't locate the post about taking the CONSOLE apart. I searched Stereo Access but it doesn't come up.

I have something rolling around underneath my shifter, sounds like a BB. I found one screw under the forward rubber tray but don't know how to release the console.

Forgive my ignorance. Am I doing something wrong? I don't see the links or photos. Could it be a browser setting?

1. turn your key to the run position but leave motor off
2. shift into 1st gear
3. grab the bottom trim panel beneath the A/C controls and remove
4. grab the bottom of the radio surround trim panel and pull out
5. unbolt the radio and pull straight out
6. unplug the wiring connections when accessible
