Question on windo removal

I read the article on removal of the 69 Ranger window. I have removed the window crank, arm rest and door panel. I have not removed the door handle. There are no access spaces etc. The inner door panel is solid. What did I miss? Is the black trim above the panel to be removed also? Thanks for any help....

You have to remove the door handle to remove the panel. Take another look at the article, especially the pictures- Pull off the perimeter trim on the panel (it just pops off), then take out the row of screws. With the handle taken off, that whole metal panel pulls right off, leaving a big hole to get to everything through.
