okay, looks like Discount Power Parts is the better Deal
03-08 Ram 2500 Clearance Lights (Smoked) for $65.00
here is the Ford ones...but I think it's just the bulb and the lens...not the body of the light itself
99-06 Superduty Cab Markers for $30.00
either way, $9 for shipping. not bad IMO. I like the Dodge ones because they are a slim teardrop shape. the Ford ones are rather ovally (is that a word?) and bulky.

I wana put these on my truck just dont know how hard it will be. I heard you have to use the dodge ones cause they fit the roof line where the super duty ones dont. I wana get the smoked ones I think they would look killer. Might do it soon or a later someone tell us how hard it was to do and any tips. Please and Thank you

i have checked out the recon smoked dodge style.... i actually placed a set on my roof to get an idea of what it looked like, and i thought they were too big (proportionally) to the size of the truck. thats why i was leaning towards the superduty version..... the superduty size is overall smaller, but i like the low profile of the dodge kit. wish someone made a version that incorporated both of those attributes.
i know that discountpowerparts sells the superduty kit (complete with bases/LED's/wiring) for about 90.00. the last i talked to Pat, he was having a very hard time keeping them on the shelf.
on another note, i have installed 2 sets on previous trucks i owned.... i think they definately add an attitude to a truck. BUT, i didnt install them the way they were supposed to be. i like to completely remove the headliner, and then i can determine exactly where to mount the lights (based on the design of the roof). since each light requires 3 holes, i like to install grommets in the middle hole for the wires, and then i use small machine bolts with lock washers and nuts, and not the sheet metal screws that they come with. add a little RTV on the gasket, and your in business...... after installing those 2 sets, i never had a leak, and i live in southeast alaska (we get over 13 feet of rain each year !!).
if anyone is stuck on the recon brand, you can go to their website and use promo code: 4x4 ( which will get you 30% off ).

Well you will have to make sure the super duty ones will work on the f150. From what I heard someone say that the roof style is different and the dodge and the f150 have a similar one so you have to use the dodge lights and not the super dutys. I might be wrong just what I heard. So someone let me know for sure. I like them both actually.

03-08 Dodge Ram Recon Cab Lights
I dropped the order today for these lights.
Ended up being $73.95 (price + S/H) from DiscountPowerParts.com
Recon's site was $71.00 (price + S/H) after the "4x4" 30% coupon was entered. I figured I might as well spend $3 more and support a site sponsor. I spend enough time on here, might as well help out.
I'll post some pics of them when I get them up...and mock install them. Not sure if I'll put them the Dodge or Ford arrangement. I'm a big fan of the 2 outers spaced far apart, then then the 3 centers closely spaced
p.s. I also own a Dodge, so if these don't work out on the F-150, I'll slap them on the Dodge
