what you do for a living

hey guys, now i know we all know each other, and some know each other better than others. However i was just wondering what everyone does to put food on the table, what you do for a living. You can be as specific as youd like, ill go first...im unemployed ha! but i used to work in an auto shop, most of you know how that went down... Currently i am going through the background checks and investigations to work with the Ventura county sheriffs department to work my way in to being maybe a deputy but deffinetly a sheriffs cadet which is like a step under a deputy... alright lets hear what everyone else does!

Well Brian, to put food on the table I prefer hunting. Since I cannot find anyone willing to pay me a living wage for my exceptional hunting skills, I toil diligently as a Human Resources Manager for a medical management company.

Yep, I'm the Office Cop!

I also take care of the Facilities Management.

Retired Ford Parts Manager.

I just love spending my Social Security checks, which means by the time y'all get to retirement age, there won't be any money left.

Though unemployable for Normal jobs as the State has me listed a 100% Disabled due to Spinal, R. Ankle & R. Shoulder Injuries.

Spent most of my life working as a mechainic on just about anything that burns fuel. I did a brief stint working as a medic but got tired of the stress and bs so went to working on the ambulace itself, I also have been a Marine, marial arts instructor, volunteer fire Capt. and a K9 handler for a search and rescue team in the Rocky Mnts. All this and a motorcycle accident have pretty well ended my working days along with a tendon condition known as monkey paw that won't allow me to open my hands or use them without pain so I'm retired now and spend most of my time keeping my border collie intertained and stopping drug smugglers from using my property.

i had spent about 14 years as a precision mold maker. that industry has been taking a crap and they are small shops that do not care to much about their employees. had been looking to get out for the last few years but to change careers with a stay at home wife and two kids is next to impossible.

now i have been working for the city of los angeles for the past 8 months. i work for the ladwp on the power side. my "title" is steam plant assistant 1. basically i am in an entry level job at a power plant in operations, learning how thing work and how to keep the electricity flowing out of our station.
