Drove it home last night with no problems. Went to go to work this morning, and all she does is turn over. I checked the Fuel pump fuse, it's o.k. I don't hear any pump noise when I turn the key on, and when I checked the pressure port on the fuel rail, no fuel comes out. Checked power at the fuse block and when I turn the key on, 5.5V for about 5 seconds and then ~ 0.5V after that.

Any thing else I should check before I replace the pump?

Power to the pump itself, I suppose. Could be a break in the wire but I doubt it.

How many miles you got on it?

 

you should have 12volts, not 5.5. i would double check that. if it is ok then i would check the fuel pump shut off switch. it is under the dash by the pass kick panel. then check power at the pump. if you have power then the fuel pump is bad. if you did have 5volts at the fuel pump fuse then you have a problem in the fuse box.

 

I checked the cut off switch, it's o.k.
I thought 5.5V was a bit strange, could it be the fuel pump relay contacts being bad?
Would there be any problems jumping 12V to the fuse to see if I get pressure?
Where is the relay located at?
