It looks like a VW...........Must have one BIG tank tho............

Making a few assumptions it could be done on one large tank. It's roughly 3000 miles from NYC to LAX; assuming the Jetta is getting 35 mpg...they're going to need at least 85 gallons to do it. I wouldn't want to try it without at least a 120 gallon tank in the trunk as insurance. I don't see any way it could happen on the stock tank. But then I'm a guy that runs a rig that burns fuel at around 20 mpg most of the time.

I always thought the vw's got close to 50 mpg.?

on the bio willie web sight it says one extra large fuel tank but doesn't say how large
