Hi all,
Just found the site yesterday, wanted to say hi to the locals. Been a Ford fan all my life and am the new owner of a 2006 F150XLT 4X4. Don't think I have enough posts yet to post pictures but I hope to remedy that soon. I live in the Grand Rapids area (Allendale specifically) and am looking forward to many trips to my camp in the UP in my new truck. Always willing to hook up with other members. Looking forward to your replies and to meeting some of you on the MI roads soon!!.

My camp is in Rock, MI which is North of Gladstone past Perkins. Do you know the area Toyman? I'm very much looking forward to the start of small game this year. Our property is much more suited to bird hunting instead of dear hunting. What I mean is we have quite a few grouse and not too many deer. Between Bird Camp and Deer camp, I can't think of too many other places I'd rather be in the fall than in Northern Michigan!!

I am involved in a deer camp between Gulliver and Manistique. Great deer hunting, good bear hunting, awesome coyote hunting.
I do most of my hunting on my property in Dimondale.
Can't wait for deer season, been shooting my bow and clearing the woods to get them moving the way I want.

At me camp we just haven't done what we need to do to thin out the trees or plant food plots like the camps around us have to keep the deer concerntrated in our area. Maybe the new truck will help with that!

The last I knew, my old supervisor retired to Rock on his 80 acres, big outdoor sportsman all the way around, his name is Bob Boucke(I think that's how the last name is spelled, it's been 20 yrs!). Any chance you know him?
I travel alot up to Big Bay, about 25 miles NW of Marquette. I don't know what it is about the UP, but ya just gotta love it!
