Talking Camp-right Adventure Truck Tent

I got my tent today, and I think it looks pretty sweet.
Plus, It isn't all that hard to put up by yourself.

Either way, judge it for yourself.
Also...this is my 08 Scab.

Thanks.
There is only one downside with the newer trucks and this style of tent.
The easy-lift tailgate can lift while tightening the straps down.

Other than that, this thing is awesome.
Plus if I bend my head to the side, i can stand straight up in it.
I'm 5'9".

Not bad for a tent!

Looks cool, You going to use a air mattress in the box with it?

Also does it scratch the paint at all?

It looks roomy. Cool idea and you don't have to worry about sleeping on rocks!

I have an 8" inflatable air mattress that wraps around the wheel wells.
And I don't know if it scratches.
They claim that it doesn't, but once I take it off, I shall see if there are any marks left.
I just waxed the truck yesterday, so any marks will be easily noticeable.

It's exactly like that mattress.

And you can never beat a clean black truck.
I've owned this beauty for a month now, and I've loved every minute of it.
And thank you.

I forgot to mention, I just took the tent down after having it up for 5 hours in some light wind.
Not a scratch, mark, or blemish of any kind.
Just a hand print from me.

I think I'm going to love this thing.
Plus, for $179 plus shipping....not a bad price for a tent at all.

Pretty cool! Wish I'd had one of those when I was sleeping on rocks with my son's Boy Scout troop! Wonder if you could rig up, or do they make, something that would fill in the sides and rear of a hardshell tonneau cover, like the old Westfalia (spelling) VW vans??? Also would have killed for that air mattress. Those things have really come of age in the last 3-5 years. Before that "air mattress" was something you floated on in the pool or lake!

Cool, very cool, and a mighty fine looking truck too!

Enjoy!

I'm not sure if they make one for that, but it would be something to look into.

And This system is much better than what I used to use.
Before this tent and mattress, I used a tarp. With one of those blue camping mats for flooring.

When I bought this truck, I knew I wasn't going to be throwing a tarp and some bungee cords on it.

And thanks again.

that tent does look pretty cool and might be a tad more comfortable than my way.

call me a hick, but 8 tent stakes, some rope and a $8 tarp works wonders. I'm after cheap and effective myself.
