Kearney Cruise Night 2008 pics!!

Here are the pics from cruise night, it was great getting to meet some of you guys! I'd like to thank George again for letting us get together at his place, it was a blast, and the pulled pork was awesome! Now, if we could just find the idiots who stole two of his chairs off of the porch in the middle of the night!!

Loaded up, and ready to roll to Kearney on Friday

Here are some of the trucks from the show at the arch on Friday night

Here are a few of the cars from the Archway show on Friday

This is a fully restored 1966 K-code Mustang, owned by a good friend of Georges. This is a fantastic car!!

This is a (56?) Turnpike cruiser, that has been meticulously restored, it was a very cool car!

Here are some pics from George's house on Saturday night.

The '53 convertible...Yes, this was a blast to cruise in!!

Nice display of Fords (and that lonely Corvette in the back!) in front of the house.

Here are the Nebraska Chapter members who were able to make it to Kearney. From left to right, Rob (cowboywanabe), George (gquinn8516),
Anthony (iwillflybyu), Pat (97nukeford), Gary (hapkidoman), and his brother John (YouRang).

And, of course, George's beautiful 69 F100

Oh, yeah. The party wasn't without incident. George managed to get himself arrested, but we're not sure why.......Something to do with streaking
the previous eveing through the Universitly campus......

Ha! Just kidding!LOL!!

The officer is a buddy of Georges, and was willing to play along!

It was a little steamy, but it was fun. The wife and I both needed a weekend away from the kids, so we had a blast!

This old beauty was the First Vehicle I ever bought. I was 12 years old and it was my Grand Fathers. It of course was not a pickup then but a 1 ton Truck. We sold it years ago to someone and through the years it ended up back in Kearney. The man who built it came into the store one day and said he had purchased it and was going to change it into a pickup and it is what it is today. Of course the title shows it as a 1930 1 Ton Truck.
