I would try Ebay, or go to a wrecking yard if you have one close. I think the 02+ are the ticket.

Go to FTE/PARTS-GUY's web site (I think that is his user name) or send him a PM and he'll hook you up. He's a site sponsor, there's a link in that list to the left.

heavytruk, just called the local dealer and they want $83 for a new assembly. Thats for a 2002 in dash cup holder assy. Not sure how much, if any, modification would need to be done to make that fit.

FTEpartsguy.com = Look on this very page among the sponsors for his link.

FTEpartsguy = Ed Olson @ Parr Ford in Bremerton WA.

SEARCH: Cup holders = 4th thread down, post #11, lists the part numbers.

Type the # into Ed's site to get the MSRP and Ed's discount price.

hmm, can't find it and searching your post history is....lengthy

I did read something else however, someone posted that the 2000's 9at some point that year) changed from the "flappy ear" design to a metal or plastic chinch type holder? is this correct? I am cursed with the flappy ears I assume they are interchangeable

No modification is needed to get the newer cupholders installed. When I had my '99 PSD, I changed out the cupholders from a '00 and they were the new style. Only the '99's had that bad design if I recall.

From Ed's web site:

Description Year MSRP Price Core Price Your Price
Graphite 99-01 $82.55 $59.44

There were other colors listed, I just happened to click on that one.
12/99 build would be an 00, maybe Ford had leftover 99 cup holders early in the build process.

EDIT- Denim blue is $59.50, parchment is $59.62- nothing came up for medium flint or prairie tan.

Lotta posts is right, and consider how long I've been a member here. Prolly 95% of those posts are parts related, I'm not much into idle chit-chat.

Ed listed the part numbers in Post 11 in the cup holder thread by member spinella.

Here's the part numbers & current prices:

YC3Z2513560CAB = Parchment / MSRP: $82.80 / FTEpartsguy.com price: $59.62.

YC3Z2513560CAC = Denim Blue / MSRP: $82.63 / FTEpartsguy.com price: $59.50

YC3Z2513560CAD = Graphite / MSRP: $82.55 / FTEpartsguy.com price: $59.44

ok, question for you all, asked Ed if YC3Z2513560CAB was indeed the updated version (non floppy ear design) he cannot confirm as he cannot physically see it, but it is labeled as "ashtray/cupholder assy"

is this the 2 cup updated holder? or one cup w/ashtray with the clamp style cup holder?

thanks

EDIT: gah answered my own question, ashtray is located behind the two cupholders, disregard!

Not for sure if that is it but my '03 has the ashtray in between the cupholders,and it is the good holder. If that helps!
