Arrow All Truck Nationals - Carlisle Pa - August 8--10, 2008

Fellow ford-trucks.com members,

Come one, come all, to the biggest ford-trucks.com meet of the year!!!!!

In case you missed the threads in the MidAtlantic region chapters, the DE, MD, NJ, NY, & PA chapters are hosting the FIRST regional meet at the Carlisle, PA ALL TRUCK NATIONALS, August 8--10, 2008.

You can find all of the information at this link,,, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...ic-region.html or in a similar thread in one of the regional chapters.

We have a tent reserved with enough parking places to accommodate all who attend. No hunting for a parking place, you drive in the show field and look for the MidAtlantic banner.

When registering use MIDATLANTIC FORD TRUCK CLUB - FTE as the CLUB. Registration can be completed online at the Carlisle site link,,, http://store.carlisleevents.com/merc...gory_Code=CAN8

Sign-up with us and help us bring back the "Club Participation Trophy for FTE!!!!!!!

New this year for Carlisle ATN\'s will be:

Truck Tug-O-War

Ford vs. Chevy, Dodge vs. Import…we’ll battle it out and see who has the most powerful truck in the tug-o-war. We’ll back two trucks together, tie their frames together with a long steel bar and see who pulls who! This is a new addition to the Carlisle line-up so you don’t want to miss it.

One other note from Toni, the Carlisle folks are considering having prizes of prepaid fuel cards for randomly selected participants.

Those are just a few of the fun events planned for the weekend. Hope you can join us for the weekend, or even one day. It is a great opportunity to meet some of your online friends.

If you need additional information and can not find it in the threads, email George at glruffde@yahoo.com and the information will be provided.

Hope the see you at the meet!

If you see this banner, you know you have found the Ford Truck Enthusiasts

This should be a great time to get together with other members that are here along with other truck lovers from all over the place. The best part of being there is of course the trucks and meeting new friends.

Yeah it is what Barry and Neil have both said, wouldn't it be nice to put a face to those that you have been typing with for who knows how long, but from a financial stand point you can't beat it.
How much do you pay per day to park your vehicle somewhere 10 15 bucks per day?
Then there is the entrance fee, another 10 15 bucks, food drinks.
Have you spent 40 bucks yet?
If you register and its not too late, you get parking in the event, your truck is secure where you can see it, you can have your beverages, food and a comfy place to relax.
You are also supporting FTE.
So come on guys it doesn't get any better than this.
Lets get that group trophy

Everyone has already said it, a great time to be had and finally putting a face to the names online. Don't worry if your ugly, I have that malady also, I'll lend you one of my paper bags. I had the faces of the ten sexiest men in America painted on them, tell me who you wish to be. Friday I'll be Sean Connery, Saturday, Brad Pitt ( I also wear a body suit for this one). Sunday I'll be myself, helps to clear out the field faster at the end of the day. Don't believe me? Show up and find out for sure. I may even let you Photograph me without my wig, girdle or teeth and post it. We did mention how reasonable it is if you pre-register, being something of a tightwad myself, I took full advantage of the bargain offered, the cheaper registration helped offset the price of fuel. I even heard a whisper that some one may even bring steak and lobster for the grill ( it was only a whisper, don't hold me to it).

"Reminder, why it is important to pre-register!"

George, you old cross poster.

Your right though, why spend the extra TEN when you don't have to. You will also be able to park in the fun field under the canopy (anyone who has been to Carlisle on 90degree plus days knows how important that shade is.) and hang out with other FTE'rs.
Munch on some B-B-Q and indulge in your favorite beverage(I like Dr Pepper).

Mike, highlight the list, then, go to the edit at the top of your page and click on it, when the screen drops down you will see the word copy, click on it, then go to the quick reply box, place your cursor there and click on it, then go back to the edit function, bring the screen back and click on the word paste. The list will come up in the reply box. You then put your name at the bottom of the list and hit the "post quick reply", you should then be on the list.
