Welcome to FTE, and the Oregon chapter! Try .016 on your points. What wiring Diagram are you looking for? We also have 2 other forums you should look at: 1961 - 1966 F-100 And Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums For 61-66 Ford trucks, and : Y-Block V8 (239, 272, 292, 312, 317, 341, 368) - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums For Y-Blocks. My son is into Y-Blocks, and is working on a 61 Uni-Body with a sweet tri-power!

I am trying to get my brake lights working I have markers and turns but no brakes and I can not seem to figure it out since I have no experince in ford wiring. So I will take a look at the other two you have recomended and apprciate the help. I found that .017 is the proper setting on the points but once again thank you

The brakelight switch for your Ford is on the front of the master cylinder. It should have 2 wires connected to it. Pull the wires from the switch and short them together. If your stop lights work, your switch is bad. If they don't light up there is no power to the switch.
