i heard from about a guy that used a high amperage alternator to extract the hydrogen from water, gasses float to the top of the water tank ,theninto a hose that went to his intake where it was sucked in threw a small nos tip.he said it gave him 45% better fuel efficiency. is this true? if so what size tip do i use cause i like the idea?

Actually; on a simple carburetor vehicle, it is not uncommon to do "Water vapor Injection". Not what this poster printed, but similar. Definitely not a 45% increase in mileage. But with a simple glass bottle; 2 air tubes; an aerator stone from a fish tank; and a connection into the vacuum line; you could create water "Vapor" which would indeed increase the compression of the cylinders and provide more horsepower. Not to the benefit he is trying to claim in converting to Hydrogen. Who knows, maybe all he was doing was water vapor injection and THOUGHT he was making hydrogen. Either way, 45% increase in a dream.

The OP specifically stated "high amperage alternator to extract the hydrogen from water" -- so there's no way to mistake it with water injection.

Yes, but the OP said that he "Heard of a guy". Why not just say; "My sister's, boyfriend's, cousin's, dentist's, wife's, brother; who stayed at a "Holiday Inn Express", told me.............

You can shove electricity through water and still have water injection. I'm not saying the story that the OP heard was about water injection. But I don't buy that he hooked up an alternator to a pot of water and simply created hydrogen that was injected into the intake and improved his mileage by 45%.
