Lets all chip in $10 for Roboteacher and have him try it on his Expy.
The worst thing that could happen is we all find out it doesn't work and lose $10....

Thumbs down Hydrogen car

There are cars out there that run on hydrogen. The problems with systems like this is that currently we do not have a way to produce enough hydrogen on-demand using only the alternator on a vehicle. While it is true that you can convert water into hydrogen using electrolysis, the amount of energy required is greater than what you get out of burning the hydrogen. Stated simply, until technology advances to find a solution to this, all these systems will be nothing but gimmicks. While I'm hoping someone does do this soon, wait for an independent study to confirm it before buying. Also, on the halfwaterhalfgas websight there's many things that should make someone suspicious. As noted above, there are torch kits that run on oxyhydrogen gas, but this is different from the "hydrogen generator" later described towards the bottom of the page. I've seen this type of scheme used before, they combine the best of two technologies trying to confuse people into believing their the same. Last note, I visited the link provided to the scorpion car and it is riddled with the same issues. The website does not give any reason why the company can suddenly break the laws of thermodynamics. The company also has not submitted to an independent study to prove that their technology works. I would be very suspicious of them as well. Bottom line is, if someone actually makes an on-demand system that works, it'll be big news and you'll hear about it. Sorry so long

Oops

One thing, on the oxyhydrogen. When I say it's different here's what I mean. When you buy oxyhydrogen to use in a torch, it's a pure oxyhydrogen mixture, two hydrogen per one oxygen. When you make it yourself using electrolysis, its almost impossible to get the two to one ratio because of contanimants. This lowers the energy value of home produced hydrogen significantly compared to "true" oxyhydrogen.

Interesting, also a link to Stanley Meyers work. Only question on the Saltwater Engine is I see a big machine that has to be running to get the water to burn, I wonder how much energy that requires? Hmm, Stan's work seems convincing, however, I can't find any of the patents the video says he received from the U.S. Patent Office, guess it is just a hoax then.
